The Mitsubishi Outlander is a popular choice for those after a versatile SUV with a hint of eco-friendliness, especially in its plug-in hybrid variant. Pros include a spacious interior, decent fuel economy (especially the PHEV), and a strong safety rating. However, cons are its somewhat bland driving dynamics and a cabin that feels a bit dated compared to rivals. Pricing for new models starts around $35,000 AUD, while used examples can be snagged for less depending on year and condition.
