over 25 learner drivers qld 2023 Page 4

Ah, the elusive over-25 learner drivers in Queensland for 2023—looking to navigate the rules without the youthful angst? In QLD, if you’re over 25 and just starting your learner's permit, you still need to complete 100 hours of supervised driving over a minimum of 6 months, including at least 10 hours of night driving. Unlike younger learners, you don’t have to wait 12 months before taking your provisional test—6 months suffices.

For insurance and cost reasons, expect learner driver insurance premiums to be a bit kinder if you’re older, but the permit costs remain standard. Whether you’re browsing learner driver courses or car listings suitable for learners, Tradingpost and CarShowroom might be your mates.

Best to check the latest from Queensland's Department of Transport for all the nitty-gritty, but this should get you started without a crash.
