oz tags Page 2

Ah, the mysterious "oz tags"—not some exotic Australian wildlife, but rather a beloved pastime of Aussies wanting to slap some personality on their vehicles or trade plates. These custom or personalised number plates are the pride of the paved road, letting you flaunt your identity or business with a dash of flair.

Prices vary wildly depending on the state and style, but expect to fork out anywhere from $50 to several hundred AUD for a personalised plate, with rare or premium tags climbing into the thousands. Used tags can sometimes be had on Tradingpost or CarShowroom if you fancy a collector's item. They’re legal, regulated, and often a conversation starter—unless you pick something utterly baffling, in which case you’re just confusing fellow drivers.
