Ah, Queensland's P plate system, the colourful badge of honour for new drivers trying not to wreck your mum's car. The P1 plate is red with white lettering, indicating the first-year provisional driver who’s still learning the ropes. Then you graduate to the P2 plate, which is green with white lettering, signifying your second year on the road with slightly fewer restrictions. Remember, these plates aren’t just for show—they come with specific speed limits and passenger restrictions. For the nitty-gritty and any updates, check the official Queensland Department of Transport.
