p plate curfew qld Page 8

Ah, the infamous Queensland P-plate curfew – a bane for night owls and weekend warriors alike. In QLD, learner and provisional P-platers under 25 years must adhere to a midnight to 5am driving restriction on Queensland roads, unless supervised by a fully licensed driver or for specific exceptions like work or school purposes. This curfew aims to reduce accidents by limiting risky late-night driving for inexperienced drivers. Penalties for breaching this include hefty fines and suspension of your precious licence. For the nitty-gritty and any exemptions, it's best to check the official Queensland Government transport website or ServiceCentral.
