In Victoria, if you’re over 21 and on a probationary licence, you’re on P2 and must display the green P plates whenever you drive. If you’ve moved up to a full licence, no P plates required—just the smug glow of adulthood. Regardless, probationary drivers must keep 0.00 BAC, so save the bubbles for after the car’s tucked in. For the finer print (and any rule tweaks), check the latest from VicRoads before you go shopping for something turbo and shouty.
