p plates over 25 wa Page 5

So, you’re over 25 and wondering if you still need to rock those dreaded P plates in Western Australia? Good news: if you get your licence after turning 25, you can skip the P plates entirely. The WA licensing system is mercifully kinder on the over-25 crowd, recognising your presumed life wisdom. However, if you got your licence earlier and still have P plates, you’re stuck with them until you graduate to a full licence. Always check the latest from the WA Department of Transport—rules can be as slippery as a wet road.
