paint my car Page 2

Ah, the noble quest to repaint your car—because who doesn't fancy a new shade to hide those lovely scratches? Costs can vary wildly depending on the quality of paint and prep work, but expect to fork out anywhere from $800 to $5,000 AUD. A basic respray might look decent for a year or two, while a top-tier job with proper sanding, priming, and clear coats can keep your ride looking sharp for a decade.

DIY attempts are tempting but often end in tears and uneven patches. For a professional finish, check out local panel beaters or body shops via Tradingpost or CarShowroom. Just remember: paint hides sins, but it can't fix rusty panels!
