paperwork for selling a car in qld Page 5

Ah, the bureaucratic ballet of selling a car in Queensland. You'll need to gather a few essentials: the Vehicle Registration Transfer form (F3520), a current safety certificate (roadworthy), and proof of ownership, ideally your registration papers. Don't forget to complete and submit the Notice of Disposal to the Department of Transport and Main Roads within 14 days to dodge any post-sale liabilities. Oh, and a receipt for the buyer wouldn't hurt—it's the paper trail that keeps you safe from future claims. For a smooth sail, check out Tradingpost or CarShowroom for templates and tips.
