Toyota’s Parking Support Brake (PKSB) is the parking nanny that watches for walls, poles and rogue trolleys, then steps in before your bumper cops it.
Using sonar (and on some models, cameras), it can trim engine power and dab the brakes if you prod the wrong pedal or creep too close while slotting into a space.
Some versions also spot traffic crossing behind you and can auto-brake during reverse shenanigans.
It’s for low-speed, tight-quarter work only, sensors hate grime and heavy rain, and you can switch it off for towing or car-wash antics—eyes up, hands on, you’re still the driver.
