petrol powered rc cars Page 11

Petrol powered RC cars are the big, burly cousins of the electric ones, roaring with a tiny internal combustion engine that runs on petrol. They offer longer run times and a more realistic engine sound, though they demand more maintenance and can be a bit noisy—perfect for those who like their hobbies loud and oily. Expect engine sizes around 20cc to 30cc, with speeds often topping 60 km/h. Prices for new models can start from about $500 AUD and soar well over $1500 AUD for serious rigs, while used options might pop up on Tradingpost or CarShowroom for less. These beasts are less beginner-friendly but a thrill for anyone who enjoys tinkering and a bit of petrol-soaked chaos.
