Ah, petrol prices in Victoria—always a thrilling topic for wallet-watchers and road warriors alike. As of early 2024, average unleaded petrol prices in Victoria hover around 1.70 to 2.00 AUD per litre, but beware, these can fluctuate wildly due to global oil markets, local taxes, and the occasional petrol station price wars. Diesel usually runs about 10-15 cents cheaper per litre. For the best deals, keep an eye on apps and websites that track fuel prices, or brave the Tradingpost to spot local bargains. Remember, a penny saved on petrol is a penny earned for your next coffee—or maybe a cheeky sausage roll.
