Hey there, Amy Swinehouse here. Did you know that pigs are intelligent, inquisitive, social animals. If you are thinking of adopting me as a pet, there are several things you should consider first. I'll need a large (SECURE!) outdoor area to roam and root during the day and a nice cozy indoor area like a barn to stay warm and safe at night. Straw is great for nesting. Sunburn is a real thing for us piggies: we get sunburnt easily, so we will also require shade, and an area where I can have a dirt bath or mud bath. Shade and a bath are essential in hot weather because we pigs can't sweat and so can overheat easily. I'll require plenty of mental stimulation so boredom doesn't set in. If you have space, you may want to consider a pig buddy for me so we can keep each other company when you're not home. We love human company and enjoy attention, tummy rubs and scratching. Please ensure you attach photos of my living environemnt to your adopt application as well as you PIC number. And remember to check that pigs are allowed where you live before applying.
