Melbourne is a show-off, and your camera will love it (even if your feet won’t). Start at Hosier Lane for graffiti grit, then swing by Flinders Street Station and the Princes Bridge views at golden hour. For seaside drama, the St Kilda Pier boardwalk and Brighton Bathing Boxes deliver colour and cliché in the best way. City skyline more your thing? The Shrine of Remembrance steps and Birrarung Marr give cracking angles without needing a sherpa. If you must go vertical, the Eureka Skydeck does the glass-box vertigo routine like a pro. Bring patience, a spare battery, and a smug grin when the light plays nice.
