prices of tesla Page 2

Short version: in Australia, new Tesla prices hop around with sales and exchange rates, but here’s the lay of the land.

New Teslas here are primarily the Model 3 and Model Y.

New Model 3 typically comes in around AUD 62k–85k drive‑away depending on state and variant; the Model Y is roughly AUD 66k–95k.

Used Teslas vary by kilometres and trim, but most sit about AUD 30k–70k; older/high‑km examples can dip into the mid‑20s, while near‑new Performance cars can stretch beyond AUD 80k.

On‑road costs (stamp duty, rego, delivery) and any shifting state EV incentives can move the final figure by thousands.

Bottom line: budget a buffer, watch for Tesla’s flash price cuts, and strike when the sticker blinks—software updates are predictable, pricing isn’t.
