prohibited vehicles for p platers vic Page 2

Ah, the infamous P-Plate vehicle ban in Victoria—because apparently, some cars are too spicy for novice drivers to handle. In VIC, P platers are prohibited from driving high-performance and potentially dangerous vehicles. This includes cars with engine capacities over 6.0 litres, or those that can flash the speedo past 130 km/h in less than 7 seconds. Examples include some turbocharged sports cars, V8 muscle cars, and certain SUVs with beastly powerplants.

For a full rundown, check the Victorian Government's official guidelines or the VicRoads website. If you’re hunting for a suitable ride, tradingpost.com.au often flags P-Plate friendly cars to save you the headache. Remember, these rules are designed to keep new drivers somewhat safe, so choose wisely or prepare for the long walk!
