Checking a car's rego in Queensland is easy: use the Queensland Government's online registration check with the plate or VIN to see status, expiry, and CTP insurer.
It will not reveal finance owing or write-off history - run a PPSR check for that before you hand over your hard-earned.
If the rego is expired or cancelled, budget for transfer fees and stamp duty, or walk away faster than a kangaroo at dusk.
