queensland learners rules Page 4

Queensland learner rules in a nutshell: slap L‑plates front and rear, and you must be supervised by a properly licensed driver. It’s zero BAC for you, seatbelts for everyone, and the mobile phone stays out of play—no hands‑free, no cheeky speakerphone. Log 100 hours of supervised driving, including 10 hours at night, in your learner logbook before the practical test. Obey every posted speed limit and road rule, because nothing empties a logbook like a suspension. Pick a roadworthy car that suits a beginner and keep it maintained; learning in a clunker teaches patience, not good habits.
