rav4 hybrid availability australia Page 10

The Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is Australia’s favourite sensible sneaker, which is why supply’s been tighter than a car park at Bondi.

New orders are open, but typical wait times still range from 3–9 months depending on spec (GX/GXL/XSE/Cruiser/Edge) and colour, and some dealers may deliver faster from cancelled or in-transit stock.

Hybrids are offered in 2WD and AWD (e‑Four) with the 2.5‑litre petrol‑electric setup, so if you’re flexible on trim, you’ll usually get the keys sooner.

Want it now? Check dealer demos and the used market; Tradingpost often has low‑km cars that beat the queue, though you’ll pay a small “impatience tax.”

Pro tip: get multiple dealer ETAs in writing, and be ready to pounce—allocations move quickly.
