red bull v8 supercars 2022

In 2022, Red Bull Ampol Racing (Triple Eight) ran Shane van Gisbergen and rookie Broc Feeney, and the pair made the ZB Commodore’s farewell look like a victory lap.

Van Gisbergen dominated the season with a record-breaking haul of wins and wrapped up the drivers’ title while barely breaking a sweat.

He also won the Bathurst 1000 alongside Garth Tander, because apparently Mount Panorama didn’t get the memo about sharing.

Feeney capped it with his maiden victory at the Adelaide finale, a neat sign-off before the Gen3 era arrived.

In short: ruthless pace, tidy strategy, and enough trophies to bend a shelving unit.
