Ah, the ever-joyful topic of registration costs in Victoria—because who doesn't love handing over their hard-earned cash to the government? As of now, the annual vehicle registration fee in Victoria starts at around $330 AUD for standard cars, but it can vary depending on your vehicle's type, weight, and usage. If you've got a heavy beast or a business vehicle, expect to pay more. New registrations also include additional fees, so the initial cost might be a bit nastier. For used cars, the cost transfers with registration renewal, usually paid every six or twelve months.
