renault koleos 2020 review Page 2

The 2020 Renault Koleos is a French frock over Japanese bones—basically an X‑Trail in a nicer suit.

It runs a 2.5‑litre petrol four-cylinder with about 126 kW/226 Nm through a CVT, driving the front wheels, with AWD on upper trims.

It’s quiet, comfy, and not in a hurry; expect real-world economy around 8–9 L/100 km and the occasional CVT drone if you prod it.

Practicality’s solid: roughly 458 L of boot space and a braked tow claim near 2000 kg, plus Apple CarPlay/Android Auto on this vintage.

Safety kit is decent for its age and the cabin is more “Sunday arvo cruise” than “Alpine pass attack”.

Consult official documentation for exact figures.
