road rules wa test Page 32

Doing the WA road rules test? It’s the computer-based theory check from the Drive Safe handbook, and yes, it will happily trip you up if you only skimmed the pictures.

Book it through the WA Department of Transport or a Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) centre, bring proper ID and a functioning brain, and expect straight multiple‑choice questions on give way, speed limits, and signs.

Read the Drive Safe guide, smash a few reputable practice tests, and don’t overthink the tricksy ones—safety logic usually wins.

Pass it and you’ll snag your learner’s permit and L‑plates, then later you’ll tackle the Hazard Perception Test before a practical drive—because one pop quiz is never enough.
