road trip car games Page 32

Ah, the timeless art of trying to keep adults and kids entertained in a tin box hurtling down the highway. Here are some classic road trip car games to save your sanity:

• 20 Questions: One person thinks of something, and the others have 20 yes/no questions to guess it.
• Licence Plate Game: Spot plates from different states or create funny phrases from letters.
• I'm Going on a Picnic: Each player adds an item starting with the next letter of the alphabet, trying to remember the entire list.
• Spot the Car: Count how many of a certain car make or colour you see.

These games are free, require zero batteries, and are perfect for making hours feel like minutes. For more ideas, sites like Tradingpost or CarShowroom occasionally list travel guides and accessories.
