roof top tent on trailer Page 5

Installing a roof top tent on a trailer is a clever hack for those who want to maximise space without sacrificing comfort. The main advantage is mobility combined with elevated sleeping quarters, keeping you off the ground and away from critters. However, trailers must be robust enough to handle the added weight and wind resistance, which can affect towing stability and fuel economy. Typically, these tents add around 40-60 kg to the trailer's load, so ensure your trailer's payload capacity and suspension can cope. Popular models often come with quick setup mechanisms, but beware of increased setup time compared to standard rooftop tents on vehicles.
