Looking to get your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification online in Queensland without spending a dime? While the idea of a free RSA might sound as rare as a unicorn in the outback, there are a few government-approved providers offering low-cost or occasionally free courses. Just remember, the Queensland Government mandates RSA training to be done through accredited providers, so a 'free' course might come with hidden fees or catch-22s.
The RSA course typically covers legal responsibilities, alcohol effects, and how to refuse service. Expect to shell out anywhere between AUD 30 to 70 for reputable online courses if you want to avoid dodgy certificates that won't pass muster. Check sites like ServiceCentral or local council offerings for any promotions or subsidised options.
Keep in mind, sacrificing quality for freebies could lead to headaches down the track. So, unless you fancy a trip back to school, it's best to invest wisely in your RSA.
