sell a car in qld Page 4

So, you want to offload your trusty steed in Queensland? First, make sure you have a current safety certificate—no one wants a death trap on their driveway. Then, fill out the transfer form and hand it over to the buyer; you can lodge it online or at a transport office. Remember to keep a copy for your records unless you fancy some legal headaches later. Prices for selling can vary, but don’t expect to get a fortune unless your car is a unicorn on wheels. For listings and to get a feel of the market, check Tradingpost or CarShowroom. And, of course, don’t forget to cancel your registration once the sale is done, or you might keep paying for a car you no longer own!
