Selling a caravan in NSW is mostly admin with a side of elbow grease. Clean it, photograph it, set a sensible price using comparable listings, and list it on Tradingpost.
Have the rego certificate, VIN/chassis number and service history ready; a recent eSafety check (“pink slip”) helps confidence but isn’t mandatory just to sell. When it’s sold, write a receipt with buyer’s details, VIN, price and date, hand over keys/paperwork (plates stay on the van), and remove your toll tag. Then immediately lodge a Notice of Disposal with Service NSW and cancel or transfer your insurance; the buyer must transfer the rego within 14 days. If it’s unregistered, it’s a straight bill-of-sale and the buyer will sort inspection and registration.
