selling car without rwc qld Page 11

In Queensland, selling a car without a Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) is like trying to sell a cake without telling if it's baked—technically possible but frowned upon. The RWC is not mandatory for private sales, but it’s crucial if the buyer wants to register the vehicle in their name. So, you can sell, but the buyer is stuck with the headache of getting that RWC themselves before registering it.

Note: Without an RWC, your asking price might have to take a nosedive, as buyers know they'll have to spend on repairs or inspections. For more details or to check vehicle histories, sites like Tradingpost or CarShowroom might give you a sense of market prices.
