selling car without rwc vicroads Page 3

Attempting to sell a car in Victoria without a Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) is like trying to sell a sausage sizzle without sausages — it's just not going to fly. The RWC is legally required for most private vehicle sales to ensure the car meets minimum safety standards. Without it, your potential buyers will be wary, and you might face legal headaches with VicRoads. Sometimes, you can sell 'as is' to a dealer or for parts, but the buyer takes on the risk and hassle. For a smooth sale, get that RWC sorted through a licensed tester—your wallet and conscience will thank you.
