skoda karoq vs tiguan Page 72

Skoda Karoq vs Tiguan is basically siblings arguing over who nicked the last Tim Tam—same DNA, different attitudes.

They share a platform and similar turbo-petrol engines, but the value equation and cabin vibe diverge.

Karoq pros: sharp value, clever cabin touches (VarioFlex rear seats), comfy ride; cons: fewer variants and performance options in Australia, some features trimmed on lower grades, resale not as strong as VW.

Tiguan pros: broader engine/AWD choices, roomier feel, polished tech and refinement, stronger resale; cons: pricier, options and servicing can sting, firmer ride on big wheels.

Both are capable, safe family SUVs with sensible fuel use; choose by your budget, space needs, and which dealer doesn’t make you want a lie-down.
