speedo app for android Page 191

Hunting a speedo app for Android to keep the licence safe and the right foot honest? GPS-based speedometer apps (think DigiHUD or SpeedView) read from satellites, so they’re usually accurate at a steady cruise but can lag a second or two under hard acceleration, in tunnels or under heavy tree cover. Look for features like big km/h digits, speed alerts, HUD mode, and background GPS so it keeps working alongside maps and music. Set it to km/h and, if available, calibrate; many car speedos overread slightly, so the app may show a lower but truer number. Mount the phone legally and don’t touch it while driving—Aussie fines hit harder than a pothole in peak hour.
