subaru forester towing capacity 2023 Page 4

Asking about the 2023 Subaru Forester’s towing muscle? In Australia, most 2.5-litre petrol variants are rated to 1,500 kg braked with a 150 kg towball download, and 750 kg unbraked. The Hybrid (e-Boxer) trims drop to 1,200 kg braked with around 120 kg on the ball, and the same 750 kg unbraked. Fit a proper tow kit and brake controller, and mind your GVM/GCM so the maths doesn’t go pear-shaped on a steep Aussie backroad. Great for small campers and box trailers; big caravans will make it huff like a koala on cardio. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
