subaru service cost australia Page 8

Subaru servicing in Australia isn’t ruinous, but it’s not a sausage sizzle either.

Expect routine “minor” services around $300–$450, with bigger interval jobs roughly $700–$1,200 depending on model and kilometres.

Subaru’s capped-price servicing (often 5 years/75,000 km) keeps costs predictable, though extras like brake pads, tyres and alignments sit outside the cap.

AWD driveline oils and, on some models, CVT fluid changes can add a few hundred at major intervals; older belt-driven engines may face a timing-belt service near 100,000 km.

Turbo models and spirited driving nudge the bill north; independents can be cheaper, but genuine or OEM parts keep things civil with warranties.

Stick to the logbook (typically every 12 months/12,500 km) and get itemised quotes in AUD before handing over the keys.
