suzuki vitara review 2023 Page 2

The 2023 Suzuki Vitara is the small SUV that prefers agility over bells-and-whistles—like a gym junkie in Kmart trainers, but quick on its feet.

The pick is the Turbo with a 1.4L BoosterJet (103 kW/220 Nm) driving the front wheels, plus optional AllGrip AWD for those who fancy gravel detours.

Real-world economy hovers around 6–7 L/100 km, ride is tidy, and steering light enough to park with a pinky—just don’t expect limo hush on coarse-chip roads.

Cabin space is decent with a ~375 L boot, but the infotainment feels a generation behind and the safety tech trails fresher rivals, despite an older 5-star ANCAP (2015) rating.

New examples typically ran about $29k–$39k plus on-roads in Australia, while used 2019–2023 cars land roughly $18k–$32k depending on kms and trim.

Key specs to note: towing up to ~1,200 kg braked, 0–100 km/h in the mid-9s (Turbo). Consult official documentation for exact figures.
