tank 300 gvm upgrade Page 27

The Tank 300 is a rugged SUV that's been turning heads, but when it comes to GVM upgrades (Gross Vehicle Mass), you're stepping into a maze of regulations and mechanical tweaks. Upgrading GVM means increasing the vehicle's allowable loaded weight, which often requires suspension upgrades, brake upgrades, and official certification to keep everything legal and safe on Aussie roads.

Typical upgrades might push the GVM by around 300 kg, but costs can vary widely depending on the kit and installer. New Tank 300s start around $50,000 AUD, and GVM upgrades can add a few grand on top. For used models and upgrade kits, check out CarShowroom or Tradingpost for deals.

Always ensure the upgrade is done by a certified professional and the paperwork is squared away to avoid nasty surprises with insurance or the local road authorities.
