By “Tesla 4WD” you mean the Dual Motor AWD models—the ones that launch like a startled roo but sip electrons.

New pricing in Australia sits roughly at AUD 70–95k drive-away for Model 3 (Long Range to Performance), and about AUD 78–100k for Model Y (Long Range to Performance), depending on state fees and options.

Used AWD Teslas commonly range from about AUD 55–85k for 2019–2023 Model 3 Long Range/Performance, and roughly AUD 60–95k for early Model Y AWDs, with kilometres, condition and warranty tipping the scales.

Running costs are low—no fuel, minimal servicing—and resale has been steadier than most, though EV prices do bob about with demand and tech updates.

Note: Tesla doesn’t sell new Model S/X in Australia at present, and “4WD” here really means AWD.

Always check current drive-away calculators and incentives for your state before you pounce.
