Tesla Model 3 battery warranty in Australia is straightforward: 8 years/160,000 km for the RWD, and 8 years/192,000 km for Long Range and Performance. Tesla also guarantees at least 70% battery capacity retention over the warranty period, so it shouldn’t feel like your range is shrinking faster than your patience in peak-hour. The coverage includes the drive unit as well, because motors like company. And yes, it’s transferable to the next owner—handy when you inevitably “just upgrade” to the next shiny thing.
