tesla model 3 long range review australia

The Tesla Model 3 Long Range in Australia is the quiet overachiever—no exhaust note, just a smug whoosh and a surprising turn of speed.

Dual-motor AWD, about 600+ km of claimed range, and 0–100 km/h in roughly 4.4 seconds make it brisk enough to embarrass hot hatches at the lights.

The 2024 refresh calms the ride and road noise, while the minimalist cabin stays slick—though still no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, which is cheeky at this price.

Charging is easy with widespread CCS and Superchargers up to 250 kW, and running costs are laughably low; just budget for tyres and the occasional software-induced learning curve.

Expect new pricing around the low-to-mid AUD $70k before on-roads, with used examples hovering from the high-$40ks to mid-$60ks depending on year and kilometres.
