tesla model y rear wheel drive review Page 3

The Tesla Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive is the sensible sneaker of EV SUVs: light on the wallet to run, big on space, and brisk enough to surprise hot hatches at the lights. The cabin is minimalist chic—a giant tablet and not much else—but the software and charging network make daily life hilariously easy. Ride quality is firm (especially on bigger wheels), yet it steers cleanly and feels composed, like a gym instructor who actually does leg day. Practicality is a highlight, with a massive boot and clever storage that swallows prams, bikes and the weekly Bunnings optimism. Downsides? Wind and tyre noise at highway speeds, plus driver assists that can be more hall monitor than helpful. If you want speed and flash there are pricier variants, but the RWD nails the value brief and sips electrons like a koala on decaf.
