tesla powerwall warranty australia Page 8

In Australia, Tesla backs the Powerwall with a 10-year warranty and a minimum 70% of its 13.5 kWh capacity at the end of that term.

Pair it with solar for self-consumption or time-based control and you get effectively unlimited cycles; go backup-only or charge from the grid and there’s a total energy throughput cap around 37.8 MWh.

The warranty is transferable to the next homeowner, because houses move on even if batteries would rather stay.

It doesn’t cover DIY heroics, storm tantrums, or unauthorised tweaks, but it does sit alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Claims are lodged via the Tesla app or your installer—then put the kettle on and let the electrons do the talking.
