tesla sales 2022 Page 1748

In 2022, Tesla delivered about 1.31 million cars globally—hardly niche, unless your niche is “printing EVs.”

In Australia, VFACTS tallied roughly 19,594 Teslas, split between the Model 3 (~10,877) and the late-arriving Model Y (~8,717).

That made Tesla a conspicuous slice of the local EV pie and put the Model 3 among Australia’s best-selling passenger cars.

Translation: plenty on the road, plenty in driveways, and plenty of neighbours pretending they’re not impressed by over-the-air updates.
