tesla servicing cost Page 31

Tesla doesn’t do old-school logbook services; it’s pay-as-you-go checks, so routine costs are refreshingly light.

For newer cars under warranty, expect basics like cabin filters, brake fluid checks/changes, A/C desiccant and tyre rotations to land around AUD $0–$400 per year if nothing dramatic happens.

Out of warranty, budget roughly AUD $200–$700 per year for the same routine bits, with tyres being the swing factor—think AUD $800–$2,000+ a set depending on size and brand.

There’s no engine oil, spark plugs or timing belts to fret about, and brake wear is usually mild thanks to regen.

Big-ticket surprises are rare but not impossible; warranty and goodwill can be generous, but not a fairy godmother.

Short version: day-to-day servicing is cheaper than most ICE cars, but tyres and wheel alignments will still keep you honest.
