tesla speedometer display Page 240

In Teslas, the speed readout depends on the model: on Model 3 and Model Y it lives on the central touchscreen, tucked in the upper corner nearest the driver; on Model S and Model X it sits on the driver’s display behind the wheel like a sensible grown-up.

In Australia it shows km/h by default, and you can swap units in the car’s settings if you enjoy confusing yourself.

You’ll also see posted speed limits and warnings alongside the digits, because apparently a sign on a stick isn’t persuasive enough.

If the numbers look a bit wee, tweak display size/brightness in settings, and keep software updated—Tesla loves rearranging the furniture after an over-the-air update.
