tesla vin to delivery time 2023 australia Page 4

In Australia through 2023, once Tesla assigns your VIN, delivery typically lands about 1–4 weeks later—give or take a ship, a truck, and some paperwork. VINs here are usually allocated close to vessel arrival from Shanghai, so the wait mostly hinges on port processing, transport to the delivery centre, and rego. Regional handovers can stretch to roughly 3–5 weeks, while metro deliveries often happen sooner if you’re quick with payment and insurance. Quarter-end rushes can compress or jumble timing, and any rectification or plate transfer can tack on days. Keep an eye on the app and texts—once scheduling opens, you’re generally on final approach.
