tesla y vs kia ev6 Page 9

Tesla Model Y vs Kia EV6 is a bout of brains and battery brawn, with both claiming they’ve reinvented the family runabout.

Model Y pros: excellent efficiency, big boot and cabin space, slick software and access to the sprawling Supercharger network; cons: firm ride, minimalist cabin that isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, and a shorter warranty in Australia.

EV6 pros: refined ride and tidy handling, ultra-fast 800V charging, a generous 7-year warranty, and a more traditional, high-quality interior; cons: smaller boot and rear headroom, infotainment less polished, and some trims can get spendy.

Both offer long-range RWD and punchy AWD options, proper safety tech, and enough shove to make petrol SUVs feel a bit last decade.

Choose based on priorities: charging network and sheer space (Model Y) versus warranty, refinement and rapid-charge hardware (EV6).

Do the sensible thing—test-drive both on the same route and let your backside and brain settle the score.
