Tim Edwards is the long-time team boss who steered Ford’s Supercars outfit from its FPR/PRA days into what the paddock now knows as Tickford Racing. Under his watch the squad racked up race wins, a Bathurst triumph, and even a drivers’ championship—hardly a bad CV for life spent glaring at timing screens. He fostered a sharp engineering culture and the sort of pit strategy that makes rivals very twitchy. In short: steady hand, clever calls, and a knack for turning Blue Oval kit into silverware. If you’re mapping modern Tickford’s DNA, Edwards’ fingerprints are all over it.
