Looking back at the top small SUVs of 2016, a crowded battlefield it was. The Mazda CX-3 charmed with its sharp handling and sleek design, while the Honda HR-V offered practical space and reliability. The Hyundai Tucson brought a solid mix of features and value, and the Ford EcoSport was a compact player with quirky looks and decent tech. Prices for used models hover around $12,000 to $20,000 AUD, depending on condition and mileage.
Each had its quirks, so check listings on Tradingpost or CarShowroom to find one that suits your style and budget.
