The 2023 Toyota C‑HR’s interior is a mood: swoopy lines, driver‑focused dash and materials that feel a cut above the usual small‑SUV fare.

Up front you sit low and cocooned, with supportive seats and a decent driving position; in the back it’s cosy for adults, with small windows and headroom that’s fine for teens, less so for tall mates.

Infotainment brings a clear touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and higher trims add nicer trims, leather accents and more toys.

Storage is sensible rather than cavernous, and rear visibility is more “periscope” than “panorama,” so you’ll appreciate the camera and sensors.

Road noise is well controlled around town, and the cabin feels solidly screwed together, as you’d expect from Toyota.

If you like a bit of style with your school run, it nails the vibe—even if it asks your rear passengers to make peace with the dark side.
