Wondering about Toyota HiLux wait times? Short answer: it swings with trim, colour, and postcode—popular specs and fleet-heavy variants can take longer than you’d like. Dealers juggle allocations month to month, so the trick is to ask for an in-writing ETA, check in-transit stock, and be flexible on options. Cast your net to regional dealers too; cancellations pop up more often than tall tales at the servo. If you can’t be bothered waiting, near-new and used HiLux listings on Tradingpost tend to appear with alarming regularity. Either way, keep your deposit refundable until the promised delivery date is locked.
